Moses Martinhas a hymn for the weekend summer.
Indeed, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s 19-year-old son offered a rare look into his life on the road with his band Dancer.
In his July 28 Instagram post, Moses shared several photos of the indie rock group performing on stage, with him taking center stage as lead singer—just like his dad, a.k.a Coldplay’s frontman. The carousel also included shots of the trio enjoying some downtime on a bus and in a coffee shop.
He aptly captioned the series, “music music music music @dancerdancerdancerdancer.” And he received his mom’s stamp of approval, as the Goop founder commented a simple red heart emoji under the post.
This isn’t the first time Moses has proved he’s following his dad’s footsteps. Last November, the band shared notable moments from their show in New York City, including the group covering The Strokes’ “Last Nite” with high energy.
And as he continues to follow his musical passion, his parents are cheering him on from the stands.
“I admire how deep you go into areas that interest you, becoming an expert in synths from the 80’s and the French new wave,” Gwyneth wrote in a birthday tribute to Moses last April. “There is such a magnificent world of ideas and harmonies inside that beautiful head of yours.”
Meanwhile, his dad takes a slightly different—albeit lighthearted—approach to parenthood.
“My favorite new thing to embarrass my son is if we’re walking down the street and someone comes up to us and they say, ‘I’m sorry to disturb you while you’re with your son,’” the rocker told Rolling Stone last December, “I say, ‘That’s not my son. That’s my partner.’”
