Gypsy Rose Blanchard is in mommy mode.
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star offered a look at her morning routine, including how she’s been bonding with her and boyfriend Ken Urker’s 8-month-old daughter, Aurora Urker.
In her Sept. 19 Instagram post, fittingly titled “mom mornings,” the 34-year-old started her day with a cup of coffee. After drinking her espresso in the backyard, Gypsy changed Aurora’s diaper, fed her a bottle and watched Mrs. Rachel, the popular YouTuber for toddlers. The mother-daughter duo then ended the video by playing with a few of Aurora’s toys.
This isn’t the first time Gypsy Rose—who was imprisoned for eight years over the killing of her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard—has gushed over her family life. In fact, the day prior, she posted a sweet photo of her and Ken spending time with their baby girl.
And as the reality star continues to embrace motherhood, she and Ken—who rekindled their romance in 2024, nearly five years after they called off their engagement—are counting their blessings that their firstborn is a daughter.
“I kind of feel a little bit more relieved that we had a girl because I don’t know what to do with a little boy,” the BlownBeauty Art founder told People in February. “I’m a girly girl myself, so all the pink and ruffles and stuff like that, that’s my area of expertise.”
Besides bonding over lighthearted activities, Gypsy Rose explained that her desire for a daughter stems from her complex relationship with her late mother.
“Despite my relationship with my mom, there is something special about a mother and daughter’s relationship,” she noted. “I am so blessed to be able to live through with her because I didn’t have that with my own mom.”
She added, “It’s nice that I can just step into that role of a mother and see how it’s supposed to be.”
