Heather Rae El Moussa is breaking her silence on the big HGTV shakeup of 2025.
Two weeks after it was revealed that HGTV canceled her and husband Tarek El Moussa‘s show The Flipping El Moussas—as well as Christina on the Coast, which was hosted by Tarek’s ex Christina Haack—Heather revealed her thoughts on the big changes at the home renovation network.
“Obviously, I do know they are going through big internal changes, so I’m not quite sure what’s going on there,” the 37-year-old told Us Weekly in an interview published July 30. “I don’t have a statement for that, but I can say how much I’ve enjoyed being on HGTV.”
And Heather isn’t sure if a third season of The Flipping El Moussas will ever come to fruition, whether on HGTV or another network.
“Anything could happen,” the Selling Sunset alum—who is mom to son Tristan, 17 months, with Tarek—noted. “To be honest, it was a great show and it still is a great show. I know that the fans loved it, and Tarek and I really, really enjoyed filming that show. It’s definitely a challenging market right now—and with real estate in general.”
But while Heather, Tarek and Christina’s makeover competition series The Flip Off is reportedly returning for season two at the network, Heather had no update on when filming is scheduled to pick back up again.
“I do know the fans would love to see it back and all three of us would love to see it back,” she added. “We will definitely throw that idea around if season two comes about. But I love my partners and my husband.”
Regardless, Heather knows she’ll be back on TV in some capacity, despite HGTV’s decision not to renew The Flipping El Moussas.
“There’s so many other shows that I would love to do,” she told the outlet. “I would love to get into hosting and I’m definitely open to [new opportunities]. I’ve been on TV for many, many years. I modeled, I shot some commercials and there’s a lot to me that I would love to tap into.”
And Heather would of course love to reteam with her 43-year-old husband for another TV project—as long as it works with her schedule as a working mom.
“Tarek and I have super fun banter with each other and we love filming together,” she added of Tarek, who shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, with Christina. “But even by myself, there’s so many different shows that I would love to host or be on. But also, I don’t know if I could be away from my baby for months at a time. It would have to be something that doesn’t take me away from the family for too long.”

“And just like that…the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end,” Michael said in an Aug 1 Instagram post. “While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That…season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.”
“SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season,” he added. “It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”
