Kylie Kelce wants her daughters to embrace self-love.
The former field hockey player, who’s currently pregnant with her and husband Jason Kelce’s fourth baby girl, doesn’t want her kids to have negative thoughts about their bodies. To kick off this lesson, she became an ambassador for Dove’s Body Confident sport program in January, using her own past body image issues to help empower her three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 20 months.
“In the generation that I grew up in, it was a lot of discussing bodies instead of how much they could do,” Kylie, 32, said in a Feb. 6 interview with TODAY. “I’m so glad that the narrative is shifting.”
She’s already started reclaiming that narrative with her kids—specifically, Wyatt. Noting her eldest is “shooting up like a little string bean,” she stressed she doesn’t want the kindergartener to feel insecure about her height.
“I’ll say, ‘How cool is that? You are so tall you can wash your hands without a stool.’ And she’ll sort of light up,” Kylie recalled of their conversations. “It really is taking those little teeny, tiny moments and making sure that there’s a positive spin on something that is clearly starting to come to their attention.”
Her words come a month after she reflected on being bullied, including being criticized for her height or even misgendered, in high school.
“There was a period of time where I was like, ‘Don’t call me big,’” she told guest Drew Afualo on the Jan. 2 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. “I would be like, ‘I’m not big, I’m tall.’ There was this whole idea that I had to switch the narrative of. Not allowing those words to hold the weight that they expected them to hold with me.”
Kylie, who played field hockey through high school and college, noted that people commented on her height because women are traditionally expected to be “dainty, fragile and delicate.”
But she soon denounced that belief and embraced being a tall athlete, saying, “You’re gonna look at me and be like, ‘you’re huge.’ Yeah. I f–king am. Yes, I’m huge. Yeah, I’m big.”

“Unbelievable honor to see it in person,” he continued. “The size is incredible, looks so small when NBA players are holding it, but it’s actually massive!! The girls were very interested in it.”

The family of five hit the field in August 2023, with Kylie joking in an Instagram post, “Here for the Rita’s and obstacle courses with dad after practice.”

Jason and Kylie rang in Wyatt’s fourth birthday in October 2023 on the Philadelphia Eagles’ home turf. As Kylie noted on Instagram, “We were celebrating a 4th birthday when the Birds went 4-0.”
