Watch:Oscars 2025: How to Watch the Ceremony and Live From E! Red Carpet

Award season is coming to a close—but not without one hell of a bang.

Hollywood’s biggest night—a.k.a. the 2025 Oscars—is almost here, meaning the buzziest movie stars of the moment are prepping for what is sure to be a night filled with glamour, enchantment and lots of hard-earned wins.

Hosted by Conan O’Brien for the first time ever and held once again at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, the March 2 ceremony is set to honor the year’s highest achievements in filmmaking and acting.

When it comes to the stacked list of nominees across 23 categories, acting veterans including Adrien Brody, Cynthia Erivo and Timothée Chalamet will go up against an impressive—and somewhat shocking—handful of first time Academy Award nominees, like The Substance‘s Demi Moore, Wicked‘s Ariana Grande, Emilia Pérez‘s Zoe Saldaña and The Apprentice star Sebastian Stan

As for the top honor of the night, Best Picture: Wicked, Emilia Pérez and The Substance are competing against Nickel Boys, I’m Still Here, Anora, A Complete Unknown, The Brutalist and Dune: Part Two for the coveted Oscar trophy.

And while who will go home a winner has yet to be revealed, one thing is certain when it comes to this year’s show: O’Brien will surely have viewers and audience members alike in stitches throughout the ceremony.

“I will say this if you like close up magic tricks, you’ll be very happy with my Oscars performance,” the former late night talk show host joked to ABC News last month. “I spent a lot of my own money polling Americans and saying, ‘Would you like to see Conan O’Brien sing and dance?’ Shocking response. People don’t want it, which means they’ll probably try and do it. I like to be an irritant. Let’s just say there are many possibilities.”

Zoe Saldaña

“I don’t think I can properly express the deep levels of gratitude and joy I feel for the recognition Emilia Pérez has been given,” the actress, who starred in the Jacques Audiard film alongside Karla Sofía Gascón. “Being part of the beautiful family Jacques created was a dream and every single person involved poured their love into telling this powerful story. I’m especially grateful to Karla, whose bravery and talent brought so much depth and authenticity to Emilia. It’s a bittersweet moment as our community in Los Angeles is processing the heartbreaking losses from the ongoing fires – homes, schools, businesses and entire neighborhoods. My heart is with all those affected and I’m sending endless love and appreciation to our fearless first responders and everyone working to help rebuild our city.”

Adrien Brody

“Thank you to all my peers and colleagues at the Academy for this extraordinary honor,” the Brutalist actor said Jan. 23. “For almost four decades, I’ve experienced the peaks and valleys of being an artist. It’s given me perspective and a tremendous appreciation and respect for this moment.”

Colman Domingo

“To be back again at the Oscar nominations table is truly meaningful to me, especially for the work that Sing Sing represents,” the actor shared. “Work which truly hopes to shine bright loving light into dark places by using art. I am so thrilled for our company which also received nominations for adapted screenplay and original song. All of that work is so tender and hopeful just like our film. I couldn’t be prouder as an actor or producer.”

“It’s incredibly exciting,” the Anora actress told Good Morning America. “Very, very surreal. I’m so grateful, humbled and so happy.”

Mindy Kaling

“I have been a producer for almost twenty years, but producing Anuja has been a highlight of my career,” she said in a statement to E! News. “I feel so lucky to be part of this joyous story of two girls with big dreams and ambitions, but who are overlooked – my favorite kind of heroines! I’m so grateful to Adam Graves and Suchitra Mattai for inviting me and Kaling International on this journey. I also don’t sleep so it was nice to actually be doing something fun at 5:30 this morning. I should get that checked out!”

Elton John

“It’s an incredible honor to receive this nomination for ‘Never Too Late,’ alongside my collaborators Brandi Carlile, Bernie Taupin and Andrew Watt,” the legendary singer said in a statement. “Thank you to the Academy for this nomination and to everyone who helped bring this beautiful song to the world.”

Not only for me but for what this film represents. I am deeply humbled. This is a time of incredible contrasts and right now, my heart is with my friends, family, neighbors, and community here in LA.  The fires have devastated so many lives but to see the way our community has united leaves me in awe of the resilience and compassion that defines us, and this moment is a reminder of how incredible we are when we stand together.”
