Katy Perry is the wedding guest that got away.
After all, as Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos prepare to the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Venice, the singer is on the Australian leg of her Lifetimes tour. But amid Katy’s absence, Lauren made it clear her Blue Origin flight crewmate is with them in spirit.
As Katy gave fans a look at her time Down Under in a June 27 post featuring selfies with a camera-ready Quokka, Lauren sent love in the comments section with a heartfelt, “We miss you Katy.”
But while she’s unable to take part in the wedding festivities Katy did however join in to celebrate Lauren during her Parisian bachelorette party in May. The “Dark Horse” singer joined Eva Longoria, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian for the girls trip in the city of lights which Lauren documented on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Katy’s ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom is on-hand for the wedding as he arrived in Venice solo amid the news he and the “Last Friday Night” singer had ended their nine-year relationship.
Lauren and Jeff’s nuptials—which has included several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family as well as Tom Brady and Oprah Winfrey—has been a multiday affair.
Kicking off the festivities, the journalist and Amazon CEO hosted their famous friends for a rainy welcome dinner inside of the Madonna dell’Orto cloisters. However, the weather didn’t stop Lauren from showing off her waist in a floral look by Schiaparelli that featured floral designs and a waist-snatching textured corset.
Jeff, 61, and Lauren, 55, have kept futher details about their wedding mum, however in addition to the stars who have made their apperance in Venice so far, the couple will say their official “I dos” in front of approximately 200 plus guests.
