Jessica Albais moving forward with some new ink.
The Honestfounder gave a life update nearly three weeks after filing for divorce from husband Cash Warren, revealing she got a new inspirational tattoo.
In a Feb. 26 Instagram post captioned, “The current chapter,” Alba shared a carousel of videos and pictures from her life lately, including a snap of the cursive tattoo on her right forearm by artist Daniel Winter (@winterstone)—whose clients also include John Legend and Chrissy Teigan—that read, “Life is transformation is life,” which the artist confirmed is meant to be read, “Life is transformation, transformation is life.”
The Fantastic Four alum—who shares kids Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7, with Cash—also included pictures with her children, a video of her working out and other mantras she is focusing on, including the phrase, “You spend most of your life inside your head. Make it a nice place to be.”
Another quote she featured read, “Life is to be lived—not controlled.”
While Alba’s ink proves she’s focusing on the positive in the midst of her breakup—which was revealed in January—she also made it a point to emphasize that same healing mindset when announcing her divorce.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years—both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post Jan. 16. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
And the Honey actress noted that, though she and her husband of nearly 17 years were going their separate ways, they are bonded for life.
“We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she continued. “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”

Merry Christmas 2024
The Honey star posted a photo from her family’s Christmas celebrations to Instagram Dec. 26, 2025. She and Cash separated the next day, according to the date listed in her divorce filing.

The pair attended a screening of Jessica’s film Trigger Warning with their daughters in June 2024.
