Justin Theroux is still in the honeymoon phase.
The actor, who married actress Nicole Brydon Bloom in March, gushed about their wedded bliss as they settle into life as husband and wife.
“We’re still young in our marriage,” he exclusively told Will Marfuggi and Erin Lim Rhodes during the E! @ Poker Face Season Two Premiere livestream event May 1. “It’s only been just over a month, so we’re just enjoying it.”
While the union may still be in its infancy, Justin, 53, shared that he and the Paradise star have already overcome one challenge: avoiding spoilers from the political thriller series.
“She’s about to start season two, so it’s a big question of whether I want her to ruin it,” he explained. “But yet, she wants to talk about her day at work, so I’m just saying, like, just ruin those parts for me and I’ll obviously see all the other stuff.”
The couple were first linked romantically in August 2023 as they enjoyed a PDA-filled dinner date in New York City, but according to Justin—who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 to 2018—their love story began at a party where they were introduced by mutual friends.
“A friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote was, ‘That’s the one,’” he said during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in September. “Like, we hadn’t even met yet. And I was like, ‘She’s so stunning.’ So I went over and started talking and things like that and it progressed.”
After confirming their relationship with a joint red carpet appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March 2024, Justin popped the question that August with a Stephanie Gottlieb 4-carat diamond ring featuring an 18-carat yellow gold inlay, though he later admitted to having pre-engagement jitters.
“Of course I was nervous proposing,” he told The Times in an interview published in September. “It is a question after all, so the answer isn’t guaranteed. But it was wonderful.”
