Just hours after he announced his upcoming album Bully will be released on his 11-year-old daughter North West’s birthday, the “Carnival” rapper—who shares North, 11, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 5, with ex-wife Kim Kardashian—revealed the origins of the album title.
“My son was playing with some kid,” Kanye told Justin LaBoy of his son Saint on a Feb. 4 episode of The Download, “and then he kicked him.”
“I asked my son, I said, ‘Why did you do that,’” he continued. “And Saint responded with a simple, “’Cause he weak.’”
Indeed, it was at that moment that the 47-year-old realized, “This man is really a bully right here.”
Kanye’s album announcement, marking his first project in over three years, came just two days after he and his wife Biance Censori raised eyebrows on the 2025 Grammys red carpet. While Kanye wore a simple all-black outfit, his wife removed her brown fur trench coat to reveal her nearly-naked body in a sheer mini dress and clear heels.
And though the couple turned heads with the 30-year-old’s NSFW look, their appearance at the Feb. 2 ceremony—which was hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena—was rather short lived. Despite rumors that the two had been asked to leave, E! News learned that the duo simply chose to get in their car and skip the ceremony right after walking the red carpet.
Later on, Kanye and Bianca, who had changed into a sheer thong bodysuit, were seen packing on the PDA at a Grammys after-party hosted by LaBoy. And in videos posted from inside the function, the two were not holding back while passionately kissing and licking each other on the dance floor.
But when all was said and done, the “Famous” rapper seemed nothing but happy with the amount of attention their red-carpet display had earned them.
“FOR CLARITY,” Kanye wrote Feb. 4 in a since-deleted Instagram post. “MY WIFE IS THE MOST GOOGLED PERSON ON THE PLANET CALLED EARTH.”
And to prove just how “Googled” she was, he went on to post screenshots of Google Search analytics to his Stories, along with a photo showing his wife’s name at the top of the “Trends” list.
In a separate since-deleted post, he added, “WE BEAT THE GRAMMIES.”
