Lauren Sánchez is starting fresh.
The journalist and Blue Origin all-female space flight crew member, who married Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Italy, on June 27, promptly changed her name and username on Instagram to Lauren Sánchez Bezos following the ceremony. The rest of her Instagram feed? Completely wiped, now featuring just one wedding post of the pair walking down the aisle with the caption, “06/27/2025.”
Her clean slate comes amid a weekend full of wedding festivities with nearly 200 guests on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore with under 200 guests, according to reports. Celebrity attendees included Orlando Bloom, Eva Longoria, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner and more stepping out for the high-profile affair.
Prior to the nuptials, the couple hosted a welcome party, which city hall officials told NBC News was being hosted at the Madonna dell’Orto church.
To the ceremony, Lauren wore a Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown, per Vogue. The corseted mermaid-style gown featured a lace overlay with long sleeves, a high neck and small silk buttons down the front of the dress from top to bottom. She added a long tulle and lace veil, complementing the dress’ train.
She explained to the outlet in an interview published June 27 that she wanted a style that reflected who she is today.
“It went from ‘I want a simple, sexy modern dress’ to ‘I want something that evokes a moment,’ and where I am right now,” she explained. “I am a different person than I was five years ago.”
And while a lot has changed for the journalist—who is mom to Evan, 19, and Ella, 17, with ex Patrick Whitesell, as well as Nikko Gonzalez, 24, with ex Tony Gonzalez—since she began dating the billionaire in 2019, she explained that her now-husband has truly been the one to help her on her journey to who she’s become.
“Jeff hasn’t changed me,” she continued. “Jeff has revealed me. I feel safe. I feel seen. He lets me be me.”
