Machine Gun Kelly is splitting hairs with his new look.
The 34-year-old recently debuted a head-turning new hairstyle that showed off his light and dark side during an outdoor jam sesh.
In a video shared to his Instagram Story Feb. 20, MGK (real name Colson Baker) strummed a guitar while sitting shirtless on a porch in a tropical setting. As he bobbed his head along to the tune, he turned to the camera and showed off a wavy hairdo with a dramatic contrast: His locks were dyed blonde on one side of his middle part and black on the other.
He also sported a skin-baring outfit that showcased his full-body tattoos across his shoulders, neck and legs.
The new dual-colored hair is a stark difference from the all-blonde man bun he sported two days prior while performing at Formula 1’s 2025 season launch event in London. But changing up his ‘do is something of a recent habit for the “Emo Girl” singer.
Three weeks prior to the two-toned haircut, MGK—who split with Megan Foxin December shortly after the couple announced they are expecting a baby together—debuted his longer locks, new tattoos and a shaggy beard in a pensive Jan. 28 Instagram post that seemed to address rumors about his relationship with the Jennifer’s Body actress.
Seemingly in response to a Jan. 28 TMZ article that cited unnamed sources when reporting that Megan and MGK were not on speaking terms, he captioned his shirtless post, “how can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything.”
Since then, the “Bloody Valentine” singer—who is also dad to 15-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon—has given other glimpses into his next chapter as a dad. In a Feb. 16 post to his Instagram Story, he shared a pic from church alongside emojis of a baby bottle and a man holding a baby, writing, “Church was right on time today. Can’t wait.”

“What I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “So I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on like the status of the relationship.”
She continued, “What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’, and there will always be a tether to him no matter what.”
November 2024: Baby on Board
The couple shared that they were expecting a baby together with Megan writing on Instagram, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” alongside a photo posing naked covered in black paint and holding her baby bump.

The duo welcomed daughter on March 27, 2025. According to MGK, Megan gave birth while listening to a score composed by himself and pal Travis Barker.
The rocker said he named their baby girl Saga Blade Fox-Baker because she’s the five-year culmination of “coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again.”
“She is an epic story,” he told Today. “That’s what saga means.”
