Machine Gun Kelly celebrated a major career moment with his no. 1 fan.
As the “Emo Girl” rapper released his latest single “Cliché” May 22, he marked a major milestone: being chosen as the cover of Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist. And once he found out he couldn’t wait to share the news with his daughter Casie, 15.
“Dude, I’ve never been on the cover of New Music Friday in my life,” the 35-year-old said in a video shared to Instagram May 22 as he jumped up and down before noting, “I’m hyped right now. Go to Spotify, real quick, on your phone.”
After seeing for herself, Casie exclaimed, “There you are!”
And MGK—who welcomed a baby girl with Megan Fox in March—admitted he was keeping his celebrations more low-key, telling Casie, “Your sister’s asleep so I can’t scream, but I wanna scream so loud.”
As for the teen—whom he shares with ex Emma Cannon—she gushed over the news before giving the song a quick shoutout, adding, “There ya are, ‘Cliché’ stream now.”
MGK’s sweet moment with Casie isn’t the only glimpse into dad life he’s given as of late. In fact, he shared a photo of him with his baby girl in a photo carousel that featured a picture he took with their reflections off a car, of him holding his baby girl who wears a pair of headphones as her face is towards her father’s chest.
“Stop what you’re doing,” he captioned the May 22 Instagram post. “These pictures are v important.”
While MGK and Megan—who called off their engagement last year—haven’t shared any more details about their daughter, the Transformers actress recently made a brief return to Instagram to share a postpartum update of her own.
“38 years old. Six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise),” Megan—who also shares three kids with Brian Austin Green—wrote on her Instagram Stories May 21 alongside the clip, in which she sported a high-waisted plaid skirt with a cropped shirt and black tights. “Please stop listening to the patriarchy. Women are eternal light beings.”

She continued, “What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’, and there will always be a tether to him no matter what.”

The rocker said he named their baby girl Saga Blade Fox-Baker because she’s the five-year culmination of “coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again.”
“She is an epic story,” he told Today. “That’s what saga means.”
