Mark Estes has saddled up to his new relationship.
Three months after the Montana Boyz TikToker debuted his relationship with fellow influencer Sommer Ray, he said that missing her was the most difficult part about participating on FOX’s reality series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
“Being away from my friends and family and then my girlfriend, that was the hardest part,” Mark exclusively told E! News’ Daryn Carp Sept. 9 on the show’s red carpet. “I’ve never been away from them for that long and not be able to text them. So, that was pretty tough.”
In May, the 25-year-old—who split from Kristin Cavallari in September 2024 following seven months of dating—confirmed his relationship with Sommer in a PDA-filled TikTok where the pair shared multiple kisses and Mark gave Sommer’s butt a few love taps.
Since then, the couple has shared similar videos of their time together on various vacations.
And just like in their fun-filled social media posts, Mark is confident Sommer will be smiling while watching his time on season four of Special Forces—premiering Sept. 25 on FOX—telling E! News in the interview airing tonight, Sept. 11 at 11 p.m., “She’s going to be proud.”
Beyond his new girlfriend’s approval of him on the show, Mark found his time sequestered from the rest of the world to be personally rewarding, too.
“I learned I’m more mentally tough than I thought,” he explained “So, that was pretty cool to be able to push myself like that.”
Plus, Mark made some new friends among the cast, which includes The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright, Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Teresa Giudice, her daughter Gia Giudice, Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown and former NFL player Johnny Manziel.
“I liked them all,” he said. “They’re all good people.”
