Megan Thee Stallion is proving once again that she’s her, her, her.
The “Savage” rapper stepped out at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2025 Met Gala in in a silver floor-length gown, complete with a white fur coat. As for her red hair, she had it pulled back into an intricate ponytail, complete with jewels, and done up with the support of Tangle Teezer’s ultimate detangler chrome brush. (See who else showed up and showed out here.)
Megan’s latest appearance at the gala—in honor of its “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme—marks her third time at the event after she made her debut in 2021. And at her first ever Met Gala, she even detailed how she channeled Marilyn Monroe’s famous old Hollywood aesthetic for the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” theme.
“That’s my favorite era,” Megan, who wore Coach for the evening, told Vogue correspondent Emma Chamberlain during her debut. “So I’m like, ‘Okay, we gotta give it, we gotta serve it.’ I’m giving Megan Monroe.”
And during their interview, the duo commiserated over the nerves of attending their first Met. Of course, Megan’s first night at the Met proved to be iconic in more ways than one. During another interview with Keke Palmer, the True Jackson VP alum—who also made her Met debut that night—coined her infamous “I know it ain’t the Stallion” phrase upon seeing the “Savage” rapper’s look.
And Keke—who has had more than one of her interview moments go viral—recently said that interaction is among her favorites to gain such popularity.
“I thought it was cool because I just thought it was a very random thing that the world or my audience—or whoever you would attribute that to, the community, made into a thing—and that was a fun one,” she told BuzzFeedin March. “I feel like I literally haven’t seen her since. Isn’t that crazy? I feel like she and I are never in the same place, at the same time since that moment!”
Indeed, while Megan attended the Gala again in 2022, Keke took a year off and returned in 2023 and 2024. Thus, the iconic moment has yet to be replicated—but perhaps there will be a meet-up on the steps this year?
In anticipation of that possibility, keep reading for every star who has arrived at the Met so far…
