Meghan Markle continues to bloom in Montecito.
The Duchess of Sussex—who moved to the Southern California town with her husband Prince Harry—shared a new look at her bonding with kids Archie Harrison, 5, and Lilibet “Lili” Diana, 3, at home.
In a March 24 photo posted on Instagram, Meghan, 43 embraced her children as they strolled through their garden. Describing the sweet moment as “everyday is a love story,” she and Lili (who’s carrying a basket) matched in their similar sun hats and neutral-toned outfits while Archie sported a long-sleeve grey shirt and jeans.
Though Archie and Lili’s faces are turned away, this shot—which was also shared on her lifestyle brand account, As Ever—undeniably confirmed they inherited their dad’s red hair. In fact, Harry revealed their ginger genes started showing in 2018, with the trait first appearing on his son’s eyebrows.
This isn’t the first time Meghan has enjoyed family time in their lush garden, as she shared a close-up of one of her kids picking strawberries on March 21. Meghan also offered insight into the kids’ agriculture hobby on her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, noting she loves to see them turn their greatest harvesting picks into meals.
“It’s so much a part of what I want them to learn,” the Suits alum said in episode five of the show. “And have these great formative memories of being there with me. [To remember,] ‘Oh mama used to make this.’”
And when the trio aren’t sourcing ingredients for Meghan’s signature jam in their garden, they’re using the fruit as centerpieces for their breakfast.
In a video posted on her Instagram last February, Meghan joined her kids in creating a heart-shaped spread for Valentine’s Day. As Meghan trimmed the fruit, Lili and Archie—who fittingly wore red and white outfits—decorated their cream cheese bagels and later filled their home with balloons.
