Megyn Kelly has ripped Jamie Lee Curtis for walking back on her comments regarding Charlie Kirk’s assassination, RadarOnline.comcan reveal.
Although Curtis initially seemed sympathetic and emotional, she recently clarified her comments were somewhat taken out of context.
What Did Jamie Lee Curits Say About Charlie Kirk?

Jamie Lee Curtis said her comments on Charlie Kirk were ‘mistranslated.’
“We gave her credit at the time because, even though she has a trans kid, and recognized Charlie didn’t — he was where I am on the trans issues — she recognized a man had been killed,” Kelly began.
During an interview that came out five days after Kirk was murdered, Curtis said, “I disagreed with him on almost every point I ever heard him say. But I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died that he felt connected to his faith.”
She later insisted her comments were “mistranslated,” explaining, “I was talking about him in a very positive way, which I wasn’t; I was simply talking about his faith in God.”
Why Does Megyn Kelly Think Jamie Lee Curtis Changed Her Stance on Charlie Kirk?

Megyn Kelly called Jamie Lee Curtis’ changed stance on Charlie Kirk ‘completely dishonest.’
Curtis’ changed stance didn’t sit well with Kelly, as she called it “completely dishonest.”
“She walked this back because she clearly got blowback over it,” she continued, noting Curtis’ 180 “actively endangers those of us who are on the right and who are out here speaking to crowds and keep this conversation going.”
When clarifying her comments on Kirk, Curtis also shared she feels crippled by today’s “binary world.”
She described it as one where “you cannot hold two ideas at the same time: I cannot be Jewish and totally believe in Israel’s right to exist and at the same time reject the destruction of Gaza. You can’t say that, because you get vilified.”
“I don’t have to be careful…. I can’t not be who I am in the moment I am,” she added.
Megyn Kelly Doesn’t Believe Jamie Lee Curtis Is a ‘Fearless Person’

Megyn Kelly same Jamie Lee Curtis’ changed stance on Charlie Kirk ‘endangers those of us who are on the right.’
Kelly clearly did not buy what Curtis was trying to sell, as she stated: “If she really were this fearless person who would say anything — the consequences be damned, she wouldn’t feel such an urge to make sure people knew she was ‘mistranslated’ into people thinking that she wished him well, which she very much wants us to know she did not.”
It’s not surprising Curtis did not agree with Kirk’s stances on almost every issue, as she’s been a lifelong advocate of liberal issues, including transgender rights and getting more women into positions in political office.
Kirk, meanwhile, called the trans community a “contagion” and blasted women like Michelle Obama as “affirmative action picks.”
How Did Charlie Kirk Die?

Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10.
Kirk was assassinated on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University for his youth organization Turning Point USA.
A bullet struck him in the neck and, while he was taken to a hospital, he died soon after.
Donald Trump confirmed the young conservative died, taking to Truth Social to write: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
