Met Gala 2025: Pamela Anderson Unveils Shocking Blunt Bob and Baby Bang Hair Transformation

Pamela Anderson channeled her inner showgirl at the 2025 Met Gala.

The Baywatch alum was nearly unrecognizable as she walked the famed steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City May 5, trading in her flowing locks for a new blunt bob that flipped out at the ends—plus a set of baby bangs.

For fashion’s biggest night of the year—hosted by co-chairs A$AP Rocky, Colman DomingoLewis HamiltonPharrell Williams as well as Vogue editor Anna Wintour—Pamela donned a dazzling long-sleeve Tory Burch structured gown completely covered in sequins and crystals. To match, she arrived wearing a bucket hat and paired the look with classic Pandora jewelry and minimal makeup. (See all the stars who stepped out at the Met here.)

“Tory Burch made this beautiful, very well-tailored, exciting gown,” she told Flau’jae Johnson on E!’s CreatorCam, powered by Samsung, inside The Pierre Hotel. “It’s very inspirational. I’m so honored to wear it.”

Joining her in paying homage to the theme, “Superfine: Celebrating Black Style,” The Last Showgirl star’s eldest son Brandon Thomas Lee—who she shares with ex Tommy Lee—looked quite dapper in a classic black Genuardi tuxedo.

Last year, the 57-year-old made her Met Gala debut with an off-the-shoulder, cream Oscar de la Renta gown and an equally fabulous faux leather headpiece. Under the headpiece, she styled her hair in a wavy updo and wore a dewy, fresh-faced makeup look by makeup artist Pat McGrath, ending her iconic makeup-free streak of red-carpet appearances.

“Pam wanted to wear makeup again for the Met Gala,” Pat shared in a statement at the time, “so we created a look that acknowledged her natural beauty, but then took it to the next level.”

As for why the former Playboy model has been opting for a more bare-faced approach since she first attended Paris Fashion Week without makeup in August 2023?

“It’s all about self-acceptance,” Pamela told i-D magazine that September. “This is the chapter of my life I’m trying to embrace now. Since I really walk out the door as me, I feel relief—a weight off my shoulders.”

“You just have to understand that you’re good enough and that you are beautiful,” she added. “I like to say the word, ‘life-ing’ instead of aging. Chasing youth is just futile.”
