Robert Pattinson didn’t miss out on the Met Gala entirely.
While the Twilight alum did not join his fiancé Suki Waterhouse—with whom he shares a 13-month-old baby girl—for a night out at the 2025 Met Gala, he caught up with her after the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute benefit for a night out in Manhattan.
Although the couple did not pose for photos together, each were snapped separately at People’s saloon in New York’s West Village. In one photo, Rob, 38, proves he’s in the partying mood as he walks into the venue’s mirrored room wearing a gray canvas shirt half unbuttoned, his hair tousled, carrying a beer.
A separate photo sees Suki, 33, in a slightly toned-down version of the Michael Kors tailored gown she wore to fit the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, sporting an all-black suit along with a simple pair of black shades.
And like other guests at the party—which included Lorde, Jeremy Allen White and Tracee Ellis Ross—Rob had some fun with mirrors, posing for a photo with a shocked expression as a fellow partygoer held up a reflective surface to add all the more fun to People’s house of mirrors vibe.
And while Rob did not join Suki on the red carpet, the “To Love” singer teased a bit of what the evening would have in store for the couple.
“I stay out late on Met Gala nights,” Sukie told Zuri Hall on Live From E!: Met Gala 2025. “Last year, it was, like, 6 a.m. and then I got on a plane afterwards. The parties are really good. And there are so many parties you can just hop around and go to, like, 10 different parties.”
However, the Daisy Jones and the Six actress admitted that her and Rob’s little one may have kept them from staying up all night.
As she put it, “I have a baby now, so I have a feeling I’m not going to make it all that late.”
Rob, for his part, had previously given insight into how welcoming their baby girl had changed their lives, noting at the Dior Homme Menswear spring/summer 2025 last June that having a baby, “makes you feel very old and very young.”
Ever the introvert, Rob may not mind that his daughter is letting him leave a party or two early.
“It’s great,” Rob added of being a dad. “I’m amazed by how quick their personality comes. can kinda see who she is already.”
