Prepare to love these 2025 Met Gala looks like a love song.
The annual fashion event kicked off on May 5, and this year, more than a few celebs turned heads while walking the steps of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. (To see every star who stepped out for the 2025 Met Gala, click here.)
So, who made the most show-stopping entrance at this year’s haute couture party, which was given the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” and was co-chaired by A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour, plus honorary co-chair LeBron James?
Zendaya flashed her engagement ring while arriving dressed to impress in a custom look from Louis Vuitton, which featured an all-white pantsuit and oversized hat.
Meanwhile, Colman made jaws drop in not one, but two ensembles designed by Valentino, and Diana Ross stole the spotlight by wearing a gorgeous ‘fit made custom by designer Ugo Mozie, Ross and her son Evan Ross, who stepped out alongside her for the event. Plus, Kim Kardashian wowed in head-to-toe leather and Kendall Jenner showed off her cleavage in a NSFW pantsuit.
Of course, it’s no surprise that stars put their best looks forward for the museum’s annual fundraiser. After all, it always presents a unique opportunity to experiment with the intersection between fashion and history.
In fact, that’s why Colman was particularly excited about his look for this year’s gala, which took six sketches to help bring to life.
“Then we did some editorial decisions together,” the Euphoria actor told told E! News’ The Rundown ahead of the big night. “We took some elements we really loved with one thing and pushed the envelope with other things. Then we arrived at what I think will make me feel my very best and feel very on point. And celebrate really fine tailoring.”
Teasing that the “beautiful” end result does a lot of “playing with history,” Colman added, “I think it’s going to be an epic look.”
