Miranda Lambert doesn’t see her wardrobe malfunction as somethin’ bad.
The “Bluebird” singer had a cheeky response to a viral video of her having an outfit mishap at her July 25 show in Seattle, where she unintentionally exposed her backside due to her denim skirt rising up too high.
In her July 30 TikTok video, the 41-year-old—who’s married to Brendan McLoughlin—was seen walking backstage at the Lumen Field, wearing the same outfit she had on when the mishap occurred: a tan cowboy hat, a brown fringe-adorned top, a denim mini skirt and black boots.
And to playfully poke fun at her wardrobe slip-up, she set the video to her 2014 track, “Little Red Wagon,” where she confidently flexes her star status. The country singer also hinted at the faux pas in her caption, writing, “I’ve been warning y’all about my backyard swagger since 2014.”
Indeed, Miranda’s butt was a popular topic in the viral TikTok video, which saw a fan zooming in on her cheeky slip-up near the bottom of her skirt.
“Miranda Lambert got up close and personal with us in the pit!” the user captioned the July 26 video. “I love this song!”
But this isn’t the first time the Grammy winner has caused some chatter in recent months. In fact, when Miranda announced that she was opening for Morgan Wallen—who’s had a few notable controversies over the years—on his I’m The Problem tour in February, her fans didn’t hold back on their criticism.
“I’m reading through the comments of the Morgan Wallen tour announcement,” Miranda said in her Instagram video at the time, noting the feedback ranged from users saying, “This ain’t it, sis,” to “I’m so disappointed in both of you. May god forgive you both.”
But despite the backlash, the “Drowns the Whiskey” star kept her reaction lighthearted.
“We’re really doing bad on this press tour, Morgan,” she teased, before directing her attention to her fanbase. “Thanks guys for the support. Appreciate you guys.”
