MomTok Gets to the Bottom of a Scandal in ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Trailer

The ladies of MomTok are back, and they’re just as over each other as they were last season.

Hulu released the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season three trailer Wednesday morning (below), and the in-fighting and drama of season two is back tenfold. When we last left the group of Utah-based women during the season two reunion special, MomTok — makde up of castmembers Taylor Frankie Paul (also next season’s Bachelorette lead for ABC), Whitney Leavitt, Layla Taylor, Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura and Miranda McWhorter — were celebrating Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck’s acceptance into Dancing with the Stars. The reunion special teased the women of the show had all auditioned for season three.

The feud between former core member Demi Engemann, who didn’t make it to the show’s season two reunion special, is still going strong, and the alliances have clearly formed: Leavitt and Engermann versus the rest of the group. “I’m going to start my own MomTok,” Leavitt says in the newly released footage, which does feel like a scene viewers have seen in season’s past.

In the trailer, the women tell season two newcomer McWhorter they’re concerned she’s still close with Engermann. “We have a leak in MomTok,” Neeley says in the trailer. Since it’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, of course it’s taken to an exaggerated level. In voiceover, someone asks if McWhorter would be open to taking a lie detecter test.

“Worst case scenario, someone leaves with their extensions ripped out of their head,” Taylor says to camera. Adds Matthews, “If there’s one thing we’re good at it’s getting to the bottom of a scandal.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season three will drop on Hulu and Disney+ on Nov. 13.
