Nikki Garcia and Brie Garcia’s kids are one dynamic duo.
The Nikki and Brie Show hosts—who gave birth to 4-year-old sons Matteo Chigvintsev and Buddy Danielson, respectively, less than one day apart—revealed their boys are just as close as their back-to-back birthdays might imply.
“Buddy and Matteo think they’re brothers,” Brie told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview. “But we’ve always felt like blood is thicker than water.” (For more with Nikki and Brie, tune into E! News tonight, April 2 at 11 p.m.)
Brie—who is also mom to daughter BirdieDanielson, 7, with husband Bryan Danielson—raved about raising her family alongside her twin sister, who shares Matteo with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev.
“We couldn’t even imagine what we do without each other, let alone our family—they’re our foundation,” the 41-year-old explained. “Matteo—who’s an only child—doesn’t feel like an only child because he sees Birdie and Buddy all the time and they act like a whole unit. It’s great.”
And for Nikki, she cherishes each and every moment Matteo has with Buddy.
“We were on the playground the other day and Brie and I were sitting watching them,” the WWE champion recalled, “and Matteo, all of a sudden, puts his arm around Buddy and goes, ‘Buddy, I love you so much. Do you wanna hold my hand?’ It was just so sweet. It melted us.”
The boys’ closeness should come as no surprise given their moms’ tight-knit relationship, which includes joint business ventures like their Bonita Bonita wine. In fact, Nikki considers Brie to be her right-hand woman, especially after settling her divorce from Artem last year.
“I have to say that my sister truly always has my back through thick and thin,” Nikki told E! News in February. “Like the vows you give at the altar when you’re marrying, you kind of have that with your siblings.”
