Jade Carey is enjoying another golden chapter.
After all, the Olympic gymnast recently hard launched her relationship with girlfriend Aimee Sinacola on Instagram.
In the March 19 post, the 24-year-old complimented her new romance as “happy” alongside a white heart and a love letter emoji.
Alongside the message, Jade also shared a few photos of her and the creative director posing together, with the final shot showing her riding on Aimee’s back as she flaunted the gold medal she won at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Many of Jade’s fellow gymnasts congratulated her in the comments, including her teammate Simone Biles, who called the duo “freaking cuuuuuute.” Her two other Team USA peers, Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles, also joined in on the fun: Suni, 22, praised them as “angels” while Jordan, 23, excitedly wrote, “Periodt!!!!”
Gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik also supported the couple’s romance, commenting, “GO JADE!”
Aimee also gushed over her and Jade’s romantic debut in her Instagram Stories, writing “ily” above the sweet post. She also reshared a touching post from Nellie Schafer—the Director of Volleyball Operations at Oregon State University, where Jade currently attends—who praised the duo’s courage for sharing their love with the world.
“Representation and visibility are so important,” Nellie wrote, adding she was “beyond proud” to see the couple take this next step in their romance. “Sports will always be a catalyst for change and inclusion. Takes folks being brave and their most authentic selves in these spaces.”
Nellie’s words are fitting, considering this hard launch marked Jade’s first time publicly discussing her sexuality. And when she’s not sharing details about her love life, she’s reflecting on the milestones she’s hit in her gymnastic career—including getting her own Barbie doll earlier this month.
