Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are in perfect harmony.
Two months after Katy and Orlando—who are parents to daughter Daisy Dove—called off their engagement, Miranda (Orlando’s ex-wife, with whom she shares 14-year-old son Flynn) revealed that the blended family is proceeding with business as usual. In fact, the trio were just all together for Daisy’s birthday.
“I actually just saw them both,” Miranda said during a Sept. 3 interview on the Kyle and Jackie-O Show. “I was with them on the weekend. We have a photo. It was very sweet. Katy and I were talking to Orlando, and they were like, ‘Oh let’s get a photo.’ And it was kinda funny. Katy sent me the photo of Orlando and like his two exes on the side, Me and Katy.”
And as further proof that all is well, Miranda noted of the photo, “We all had such a big smile on our faces. You know we’re one big happy family.”
According to Miranda—who is married to Evan Spiegel—maintaining an amicable relationship has always been a priority for all parties as she, Orlando and Katy navigate their blended family.
“Honestly especially when you have children it shouldn’t be any other way,” she told the Australian radio hosts. “It needs to be harmonious.”
Plus, it helps when your ex’s ex is also a good friend.
“She’s amazing,” Miranda, 42, gushed of Katy. “I love her. And him obviously.”
And while the model has no issues sharing the details on her recent reunion with Katy, 40, she remained mum when it came to addressing the “Fireworks” singer’s relationship status with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Speculation about the pair blossomed after they grabbed dinner together earlier this summer, shortly after which Justin attended one of Katy’s shows in Canada.
“Got to let Katy speak for herself on that one,” Miranda said when asked about their status, adding of Daisy’s birthday, “he was not there. I can confirm that.”
In fact, Miranda is always sure to have Katy’s back. Shortly after the pop star’s split from Orlando, Miranda showed her support for Katy as she shared footage of the pop star singing her hit “California Girls” during a stop on her Lifetimes Tour in a July.
What’s more, Katy has previously echoed her sentiments about her love for Miranda, and how their family is always united.
“Many of you may be confused as to why I’m presenting Miranda with this award,” Katy said while honoring Miranda at the G’Day USA Arts Gala in 2023. “It doesn’t fit the ex-wife, new wife narrative. Many in the media would like to see us mud wrestle…but this is about love, and Miranda is love.”
