Amy Poehler glowed on the 2025 Oscars red carpet.
However, It wasn’t just because of the gorgeous look she’d put together for the occasion. No, Amy was all smiles because she had the best accessory of all: her boyfriend Joel Lovell, who was by her side on the carpet.
For her part, Amy donned a gorgeously classic black gown with a sweetheart neckline, which she paired with simple gold and diamond necklaces and dangling earrings from Marco Bicego Jewelry.
Joel, for his part, wore a black tuxedo and bowtie, as he stood just behind her, letting his better half enjoy a moment in the spotlight. And, in an especially sweet moment, the pair smiled widely as they held hands walking off the carpet. (See every star here.)
The Parks & Recreation alum and former New York Times editor began dating last summer, per People. The Oscars marks the first time they’ve stepped onto a carpet together as a couple.
But Amy and Joel weren’t the only couple gracing the award ceremony together.
Miley Cyrus made a splash with boyfriend Maxx Morando at her side. The duo complemented each other in all-black outfits, while Miley debuted a dramatic new look: bleached eyebrows.
Another couple turning their Oscars experience into the ultimate date night? Miles Teller and wife Keleigh Teller.
The Top Gun: Maverick star channeled his onscreen character in sunglasses, which he wore to complement his black tuxedo and bowtie. Keleigh, meanwhile, stunned in a dusty blue gown, one with billowing sleeves, a plunging neckline and beaded flowers.
Love also made it all the way onto the Oscars stage when Best Supporting Actor winner Kieran Culkin took part of his speech to shoutout his wife Jazz Charton—and hold her accountable for a promise she made last year.
“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from her because she said if I won the award, she would give me the kid,” the A Real Pain actor—who shares kids Kinsey, 5, and Wilder, 3, with the model—said on stage. “Turns out she said that because she didn’t think I was going to win.”
But, after confessing he really wanted four kids, Jazz made another promise.
“She turned to me,” he continued, “and she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’ I held my hand out. She shook it, and I have not brought it up once until just now. You remember that, honey?”
The Succession alum continued, “I just have this to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, yee little faith. No pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again and let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say? I love you!”
