Pop Culture Jeopardy! is getting a second season — and a new home.

The game show will move to Netflix for its second season, with a premiere set for sometime in 2026. The show’s first season streamed on Prime Video late last year and early this year. Saturday Night Live castmember Colin Jost is in talks to return as host of Pop Culture Jeopardy!, which like other versions of the game is produced by Sony Pictures Television.

As its name implies, Pop Culture Jeopardy! focuses on answers and questions from the realm of popular culture, with movies, TV, music and sports all well represented on the game board. Unlike other versions of Jeopardy!, however, the show features three-person teams competing against one another. Season one also featured a “Triple Play” answer in each round, with teams earning triple the clue’s value if each member gives one of three possible correct responses.

Pop Culture Jeopardy! captivated an audience with its fun and energetic game play, building on the beloved franchise and offering fans an opportunity to test their zeitgeist knowledge,” Suzanne Prete, president game shows at Sony Pictures TV, said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be partnering with the exemplary team at Netflix to bring more episodes to our passionate and loyal viewers.”

Michael Davies is the executive producer of Pop Culture Jeopardy! (along with other iterations of the game).
