Rihanna’s kids have some wild thoughts about being big brothers.
The pregnant singer—who is expecting her third baby with boyfriend A$AP Rocky—revealed how their sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 23 months, really feel about gearing up to welcome a new addition to their family.
While attending the Smurfs premiere in Los Angeles July 13, where she walked the red carpet accompanied by both her boys, the 37-year-old told Extra, “They’re delighted.”
As for whether RZA and Riot can expect a new brother or sister, the Grammy winner—who voices Smurfette in the upcoming animated comedy—admitted that she’s “always wanted a girl,” but made it clear she won’t be disappointed when it’s time to give birth.
“God knows best, right?” she continued. “And I love my boys.”
In fact, as Rihanna revealed to E! News on the red carpet, RZA and Riot are following in her and A$AP’s footsteps.
“Both of them love music,” she shared. “It’s insane.”
Of course, when it comes to the sex of baby No. 3, A$AP (real name Rakim Mayers) may have already let the cat out of the bag, as he previously dropped a pretty big hint on the matter when asked if the impending arrival was the girl he and Rihanna have been waiting for.
“It is, man, it is,” he told Entertainment Tonight in June, though he seemed to deflect by holding up a Smurfette toy and adding, “Right here, you know what I’m saying? Right here.”
And regardless of the baby’s sex, he or she may not be the last addition to their household, as the rapper told the outlet, “We’re going to be like the Wayans family.”
While the couple may be playing coy about the baby’s sex, they’ve seemingly been breathing easier after revealing Rihanna’s pregnancy at the Met Gala in May.
“It feels amazing,” A$AP told The Associated Press at the time. “We were tired of holding that, and it was time to show the people what we was cooking up. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, because we’re definitely happy.”
