The Duke and Duchess of romance.
Meghan Markle celebrated Valentine’s Day with a sweet post dedicated to Prince Harry—with whom she shares children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3—on her new personal Instagram account. And in addition to her heartfelt note, she included a never-before-seen black and white candid shot of her and Harry, 40, sharing a kiss during a date night.
“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games,” Meghan, 43, captioned the Feb. 14 post. “Changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created.”
“My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever,” she added. “Thank you for you. As ever, M.”
But despite Harry being away in Canada during the holiday, Meghan had her and her husband’s two little Valentines keeping her company. The Suits alum also gave insight into how she was marking the occasion with Lili and Archie, sharing a sweet video on her Instagram Story of her cutting strawberries into hearts and making pink cream cheese for bagels while her youngest’s Lilibet’s hand appears in the background. In a blink and you’ll miss it moment, the back of Archie’s head appears in frame as he opens a door while his mom and the sweet treats trail behind him.
Meghan’s post comes days after she returned home to Montecito, California, after joining Harry in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the inaugural winter Invictus Games—the sports tournament for wounded veterans. While there, the pair were spotted showing PDA as they watched games and talked to athletes.
“To have my wife here supporting me is amazing. I love that she’s by my side,” Harry who founded the games in 2014 told People in an interview published Feb. 12. “It’s such an important piece to this whole adventure.”
Royals are feeling the love all around as Harry’s brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton shared their own PDA-filled Valentine’s Day post, marking the holiday with a rare picture of William planting a kiss of his wife’s cheek.
