Princess Lilibet Is Heard Praising Mom Meghan Markle’s Cooking in Adorable Video

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s daughter is a big fan of her mom’s homemade strawberry preserves.

The voice of Princess Lilibet, 3, is heard in the Duchess of Sussex’s latest video, which shows her boiling the fruit, sugar and other ingredients in a pot.

“What do we think, Lili?” Meghan asked in the clip, shared to her Instagram Stories April 26, while her and Harry’s daughter responded, “I think it’s beautiful.”

Lilibet, who has an American accent like her mom, also appeared briefly in the video. A glimpse of her arm holding a wooden spoon is shown.

The clip is one of several home videos Meghan posted that day. She also shared footage of her and Harry’s son Prince Archie, 5, feeding koi fish in a pond.

“Mama,” he said, “Watch this.”

While Harry does not have a public social media account, Meghan rejoined Instagram on New Year’s Day and has since begun to share photos and videos of Lilibet and Archie, including some in which they are heard talking, while keeping their faces hidden.

Despite offering fans glimpses at her kids on social media, the former actress does not include the children on her Netflix lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, which premiered in March and has featured the Duke of Sussex twice. 

The Suits alum does, however, talk about Lilibet and Archie on the series. On episode five, she showcases strawberry preserves she cooked with her daughter.

“Lili and I actually made this batch together,”  said while serving some on episode five of her Netflix lifestyle and cooking series With Love, Meghan, which premiered in March. “She picked all those berries with me.”

The Suits alum continued, “And then she’s like, ‘No no, Mama. I’ll do it,’ and she wants to try. She’s like, ‘I’ll stir it. I’ll mash it.’ Great. And then you keep the hot stuff away and go ahead and pour it in. But she’s proud. That part feels good.”
