The 2025 SAG Awards are proof that two is better than one.
Indeed, many of the celebrities nominated at the award show this year opted to turn the occasion into a date night, walking the red carpet with their better halves.
Among those who donned the cutest accessory of all—their significant other—was Adam Brody, who was nominated alongside ceremony host Kristen Bell for their performances in the Netflix series Nobody Wants This.
For the occasion, the O.C. alum wore a brown suit while his wife Leighton Meester stunned by his side in a green gown with gold embellishing, a matching scarf at her neck. (See every red carpet look here.)
But whether Adam takes home the award or not, he knows he’s already a winner—both this award season, after being honored at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, and in life with Leighton.
As he told his wife of over a decade in his acceptance speech, “My darling, darling, darling wife Leighton, thank you for sharing this life with me and this journey with me. Thank you for our family. I love you with all my heart.”
Other A-list attendees who turned the evening into a date night were Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi as well as Nobody Wants This Justine Lupe and her husband Tyson Mason.
Heading into the evening, on the film side of things, Wicked earned five nominations—including a nod for its ensemble as well as individual nominees for stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey—while Timothée Chalamet’s film A Complete Unknown earned four.
For TV, Shogun and The Bear were among the top nominees, earning five and four respectively. In addition to ensemble nominations, stars Jeremy Allen White, Liza Colón-Zayas, Ayo Edebiri,Tadanobu Asano, Hiroyuki Sanada as well as Anna Sawai were all nominated.
