Jen Affleck‘s secret is out.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star ditched her honey blonde hair for a dark brown hue that will make fans do a double take.
In a video shared to Instagram Aug. 12, Jen sat in the salon chair with her blonde hair, which had grown out long enough to see her brunette roots. The clip then cut to her perched in the chair while her Mormon Wives‘ costar Jessi Ngatikaura coated all of her strands in dye before unveiling her final look: deep brown hair that was styled in loose waves and fell past her shoulders.
Alongside the footage of her epic transformation, Jen wrote in the caption, “Back to my roots.”
Of course, changing up her appearance isn’t the only major update the reality TV personality has shared as of late. Last month, Jen welcomed her third child, a baby girl named Penelope Affleck, with her husband Zac Affleck.
“Baby Penelope is here,” the 26-year-old wrote on Instagram July 2 alongside several photos of the couple cuddling their new addition. “She is perfect.”
And Jen—who also shares daughter Nora Affleck, 3, and son Lucas Affleck, 2, with Zac—noted that despite having given birth twice before, the experience was still unique.
“Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life,” she explained. “I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earth side now.”
And now that their little one has joined the family, Jen has provided insight into what the next chapter of her journey will include.
Sharing a video of her post-shower routine, which included moisturizing, applying hair oil and blow-drying her long locks, she wrote on Instagram July 7, “It’s time to prioritize self-care, especially postpartum.”
