Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost’s romantic night out is definitely award-worthy.
The couple was all smiles as they walked the red carpet for the 2025 Emmys at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles Sept. 14.
And the pair, who wed in 2020, arrived in style as Scarlett, 40, beamed in a cream-colored strapless floor-length gown with matching drop earrings. As for Colin, the 43-year-old opted for a classic black suit with a matching bowtie. (To see every star who walked the red carpet, click here.)
The night was particularly special for the Saturday Night Live star, who took home awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special for his contributions to SNL50: The Anniversary Special and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for SNL. He also received a nomination for Outstanding Host for a Game Show for his role on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
While Scarlett and Colin—who share son Cosmo, 4, as well as her daughter Rose, 11, from her marriage to Romain Dauriac—have shared several red carpet moments together over the years, the actress made quite a splash of her own when she shared a kiss with her Jurassic World: Rebirth costar Jonathan Bailey at not one, but two of the film’s premieres in June.
But when asked about the viral exchanges, Colin was totally unfazed.
“I guess in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there,” he joked to Entertainment Tonight in July. “Of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan.”
After all, there’s one key reason why Scarlett’s bond with her costar didn’t pose a real problem.
“Jonathan is an out gay man—it didn’t seem like the biggest threat,” Colin noted. “Jonathan and I were at the red carpet like, ‘I guess we have to kiss now? Will that close the loop?’”
