Seeking Sister Wives‘ Davis family has welcomed another woman into their polygamous relationship.
Nick Davis and wives April Davis and Jennifer Davis started dating longtime friend Teresa after amicably parting ways with former sister wife Danielle. In fact, according to the trio, it was Teresa’s idea to be added into their unconventional dynamic.
“About six months after we broke up with Danielle, Teresa started coming to Jen and I and telling us how much she loves Nick,” April shared in E! News’ exclusive look at Sept. 29’s episode of the TLC series, “and that she thinks she would be a good fit to be a sister wife.”
While the family initially thought Teresa—who she said was “very supportive” in the aftermath of the split from Danielle—was joking, it turned out the HVAC specialist was “very pushy.”
“She wanted it,” April continued. “We invited her to go out on a date with us and it just clicked.”
As for what made Teresa fall for Nick?
“I love the way Nick smells,” she said in a separate confessional. “I love his creamy body. I love his intelligence. I love his love for himself, for his family, for his children and for his wives.”
Teresa added of the dad of three, “I don’t want to be with any other people. I’m in this for the long haul.”
And Teresa’s ties with the family run deep. After all, she’s known April and Nick, whom she first met through social media, well before Jennifer became a sister wife.
“In regards to polygamy, I love that there’s so much openness and honesty,” Teresa explained. ‘I know that any man that I date could fall madly in love with me, but that doesn’t mean he’s not gonna want something else.”
She added, “He may love pizza, but eventually he’s gonna want a steak.”

Yessel and Dani Peralta have been married for nearly five years and have two small boys, plus two kids from Yessel’s previous relationships. Dani is a nurse, and Yessel travels for long periods of time for work, a dynamic that inspired the couple to consider bringing in a sister wife to help support their family when Dani is home alone. With a busy household and demanding careers, Yessel and Dani are re-evaluating their relationship after a previous attempt at plural marriage nearly cost them everything. Dani, who admits to feelings of jealousy, wants to be cautious and lay down some boundaries in order to feel comfortable seeking again.
The Merrifield Family (Returning) – Buena Vista, CO
After previous heartbreaks with Roberta and Nathalia, both Brazilian women, Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield are once again opening their hearts to a potential sister wife. Lorrana, also Brazilian, has arrived on a K1 visa, giving the couple just 90 days to get married. As the clock ticks, Lorrana must navigate adjusting to life in rural Colorado, while the Merrifield’s confront whether the third time truly is the charm.
The Johnson Family (New) – Providence, RI
Matt and Anjelica Johnson, long time polygamists with two young children, have been in a three-year relationship with Shanay, who has become Anjelica’s best friend. They enjoy evenings away from the kids and dish on Matt, but lately Shanay is not satisfied with the time she and Matt spend together. After three years, she wants more and the trio must face a pivotal moment in defining their future.
