Selena Gomez isn’t keeping her birthday to herself.
In fact, the almost 33-year-old brought her loved ones together to celebrate ahead of the official day on July 22, including fiancé Benny Blanco and longtime BFF Taylor Swift.
“As I prepare to celebrate my 33rd birthday, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here,” she captioned the July 20 carousel of images. “This past year has truly been the most beautiful year of my life, and I owe so much of that to all of you.”
She continued, “Thank you for your unwavering love and kindness. Whether you cheered me on from the sidelines, shared in my highs and lows, or simply offered a listening ear, you have made this year unforgettable. I am extremely humbled and insanely appreciative of all your love.”
For the festivities, Selena donned a lowcut, sparkling Nadine Merabi jumpsuit which she paired with a white fur coat, a Brilliant Earth x Jane Goodall diamond necklace and, of course, the sparkling diamond engagement ring given to her by Benny in December. The music producer, for his part, wore a leopard print silk shirt under a velvet blazer as he kissed and held his fiancée close.
Also in the roundup of images—which showed off the swanky, rooftop gathering—was a sweet snap of Taylor and Selena as the posed amid silver and gold balloons.
Wrapping up the caption of her post, the Only Murders in the Building star reflected on the future.
“As I step into this new year, I’m filled with excitement and hope for what’s to come,” Selena added. “I look forward to sharing more moments with all of you, creating new memories, and continuing this beautiful journey together. MADLY LOVE YOU ALL.”
Also at the birthday party was Sofia Carson, who later wrote on the post, “We love you.”
In fact, Selena’s post was filled with well wishes from fans and fellow celebrities alike. Among them was Nina Dobrev who wrote, “Love love love this, love you, love 33!!!! It’s going to be an even more magical year! Happy birthday,” while Lily Collins added, “The most love to the brightest soul.”
It should come as no surprise that Taylor was there to help usher in Selena’s 33rd year. After all, the pair have been the best of friends for much of their lives and are always there to celebrate the other’s biggest moments.
In fact, when Taylor officially gained back the master recordings of her entire music library in May, she and Selena enjoyed a night out on the town at New York City’s Monkey Bar on June 2 to celebrate.
And earlier, following Taylor’s announcement of the accomplishment, Selena wrote on her Instagram Story, “Yes you did that Tay. So proud!”
