Selena Gomez is ready to secure her bride status.
The Only Murders in the Building star is set to tie the knot with Benny Blanco—and she’s not keeping her plans to herself.
“It’s wonderful,” Selena, 33, told Jimmy Fallon during her Sept. 9 appearance on the Tonight Show. “I’m very lucky. It’s going well.”
She added, “I’m so excited.”
Selena’s costar Steve Martin is also excited to see if he’ll make the nuptials, as he quipped about both himself and fellow costar Martin Short, “I’m sure our invites will arrive any day.”
Assuring her costars they’re part of the guest list, Selena added, “Of course they are, Marty’s the ring bearer.”
As for Martin, he’s so happy to see Selena marry the love of her life.
“We’re all so excited,” the Innerspace star beamed. “Because we love this lady, and we love her fiancé Bad Bunny.”
Though she was in on the bit, Selena quickly clarified, “Benny Blanco.”
Selena—who got engaged to Benny in December—recently marked her upcoming bride status alongside some of her closest friends during her Bachelorette party in Mexico.
In an Aug. 28 Instagram carousel, the “Back to You” singer posed in a variety of bride-themed ensembles including a veil that read “Bride to be,” and showed off the bride-themed décor featuring her and Benny’s S and B initials.
As for Benny, (real name Benjamin Levin) he gave the festivities his seal of approval by flooding Selena’s comments with red heart and crying emojis.
Indeed, while the couple are still in the planning stages, Selena still has the day she said “yes” at the top of her mind.
“I think you envision all the things that you would do and say when someone asks you, but it is actually the craziest feeling,” Selena said alongside Benny on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast in March. “It was really special. He said the sweetest things, but I also was so shocked that it just felt unreal for a long time. I don’t know. I always dreamt of that moment, and he couldn’t have made it more perfect. It was one of the best days of my life for sure.”
