Chris Rock is a big Kim Kardashian fan.

In fact, while the Kardashians star was chatting with Leslie Jones during the SNL 50: The Anniversary Special red carpet, Chris popped in with a sweet shoutout.

“Kim K.,” the comedian began, as he crashed the Feb. 16 interview, “one of the great SNL hosts of all time. Right up there with Martin Short, Kevin Hart and Kim K. One of the all-time greats.”

The compliment clearly meant a lot to Kim, who turned to the camera with a big smile on her face, asking, “Did you hear that?”

As Leslie added to the SKIMS founder, “See baby? You are loved.” (See all the red carpet looks here.)

And indeed, Kim’s Oct. 2021 hosting experience was indeed a popular one—where she infamously dragged many of her famous family members in the opening monologue—and a night she remembers fondly.

“It was insane,” the reality star said. “It’s a wild experience, I’m so happy I did it. And I wasn’t as nervous as most people actually say.”

On returning for such a special night for the series, Kim could only express her gratitude for being involved.

“It’s a legendary night,” she noted. “Just for me to see so many people that I’ve looked up to, that I’ve watched their sketches over the years, and just to be a part of it tonight, yeah, so special.”

It’s a theme most of the alums—whether former cast members, writers or celebrity hosts—echoed as they walked the carpet.

As Amy Poehler explained to NBC’s Willie Geist, “It’s like comedy high school. We all grew up here. We’re having a lot of big feelings. It’s great to see everyone and it’s great to be back.”

And her former Weekend Update co-anchor Tina Fey felt similairly. “It has been thrilling to be in this building this week,” she gushed. “Because it’s everyone coming home. It feels like a bunch of siblings and cousins. And it’s watching people who know how to do it, practice and do it. It’s so exciting.”
