The Society of Camera Operators has announced its 2026 Camera Operator of the Year awards nominees across film and TV.
The film nominees are Colin Anderson for both One Battle After Another and Marty Supreme, with Brian Osmond on the latter; Lukasz Bielan with Natasha Mullan for F1; Gilles Corbeil with James Frater for Frankenstein; and Michael Fuchs with Kate Roberson for Weapons.
The TV nominees are Erdem Ertal with Aymae Sulick for The Pitt‘s season one episode “6:00 p.m.”; Mark Goellnicht for The Studio‘s season one episode “The Oner”; Scott Maguire with Mark Schmidt for the Severance season two episode “Chikai Bardo”; Jim McConkey with Fanny Coustenoble and Niknaz Tavakolian for Etoile‘s first episode “The Swap”; and Nick Müller for the Stranger Things season five episode “Chapter Four: Sorcerer.”
The winners will be honored during the livestreamed SOC Awards ceremony on Saturday, March 7, with watch parties in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta.
“This year’s honorees represent the very best of our craft, and we are proud to recognize their exceptional contributions to film and television during a time when their work, and their perseverance, matters more than ever,” SOC president Matthew Moriarty said in a statement.
