A week after the Euphoria star and the film producer’s breakup was confirmed, the duo stepped out for lunch together at Beverly Glen Deli in Los Angeles.
For the meet-up, both Sydney, 27, and Jonathan, 41, donned sunglasses and while they arrived and left from the restaurant together, did not show any signs of PDA. TheWhite Lotus actress sported a baby blue hoodie, which she wore with the hood up around her blonde hair and wide-legged jeans with white sneakers.
Jonathan, meanwhile, sported an all-black tracksuit with red embellishments and a black T-shirt. The former couple was joined by Sydney’s pup, Tank, whom Jonathan guided out of the restaurant on a green leash.
The pair’s public outing comes exactly one week after multiple outlets reported they had broken up after seven years together and called off their engagement following Jonathan’s 2022 proposal. While neither party has addressed their split, Sydney attended the wedding of Glen Powell’s sister amid the breakup speculation.
Because Sydney and Glen starred in the 2023 romantic comedy Anyone But You together—and ensuing dating rumors followed—many fans speculated whether a relationship was brewing between the former costars, but Glen’s mom, Cyndy Powell, promptly shut it down.
“They’re definitely not together,” Cyndy told the Daily Mail March 31, noting that Sydney had attended the wedding with another friend, and emphasizing that the Immaculatestar and her son were just “really close friends.”
Glen, for his part, didn’t address the romance speculation head-on, but cheekily laughed it off during an appearance on Jenna & Friends, saying, “Timing is everything in this world, isn’t it?”
Meanwhile, Sydney previously shot down her and Glen’s first bout of romantic speculation back in 2024 during her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, calling the rumor the “craziest” she’d heard about herself, emphasizing it was “not true.”
As she put it, “Me and my fiancé produced the movie together, and he was there the entire shoot.”
Indeed, Sydney and Jonathan often worked together throughout the relationship. And she previously said it was one of the hallmarks of their romance, telling Entertainment Tonight in 2023, “It’s amazing having someone who cheers you on and someone who fully just supports what you do.”
