Teen Mom alum David Eason’s ex-girlfriendis experiencing an insurmountable loss.
Olivia Leedham—who shares son Kaden, 11, with the former Teen Mom star—lost her younger daughter Lailah after the child visited the emergency room several times without a diagnosis, a friend of the family said in a GoFundMe statement. She was just 7 years old.
“Our friend Olivia Leedham tragically lost her beautiful seven-year-old daughter, Lailah Price, yesterday,” the message read. “While in the hospital Friday night, she had a seizure and passed away early Saturday morning, June 7th. We have been friends with this family for many years. Olivia grew up in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and attended Greencastle schools.”
After splitting from Olivia, Teen Mom star David marriedJenelle Evans in 2017 before the couple separated in 2024. The former couple shares daughter Ensley, 8, who Jenelle currently has full custody of, as they continue to finalize their divorce. In Olivia’s GoFundMe, her friend says she was a single mom to both Kaden and Lailah and provided for them through a career as a barber.
“Lailah was a bright light in their family,” the statement continued, “and loved life and Jesus very much.”
Olivia’s mom confirmed Lailah’s passing to People. E! News has reached out to Olivia but has not yet heard back.
Over the years, Olivia documented her life in Naples, Florida with her two kids on social media, often sharing tributes dedicated to both of them about how happy they made her.
“My little girl…she truly amazes me every day,” Olivia wrote in a May 2024 post alongside a photo of Lailah. “Her beautiful heart and mind…she is smart. She has the most amazing personality and I’m so proud of her for who she is. I love you my little Lailah bug.”
In another photo Olivia shared of her daughter was a toddler, she wrote, “Gosh she just makes me melt and smile all at the same time! My sweet sassy Lailah bug.”
Olivia emphasized that her kids are her “beautiful little miracles.”
“I will live each day to strive to make their lives better,” she wrote alongside a sweet photo of Kaden and Lailah in 2020. “They are my world and so much more. I look at them each day thinking about how grateful I truly am. It almost brings tears to my eyes because they mean more to me than I could ever explain in words. They are my light and my sunshine to my day.”
