Trinity Rodman once again proved she’s Ben Shelton’s biggest fan and supporter after the tennis player snagged his first ATP Masters 1000 title with his win at Canada’s National Bank Open against Karen Khachanov.
In a video of the winning match point to her Instagram Story, Trinity said, “Guys serving for the match, first Masters 1000. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.” And when Ben’s opponent hit the ball into the net, she erupted in cheers.
The soccer player followed up the Aug. 7 video with a sweet message celebrating the milestone win, writing over a picture announcing Ben as the champion, “I watch you everyday[sic] work your ass off.”
“I see everyone who doubts you,” Trinity continued. “You are so inspirational and I’ve never been filled with this much joy I love you and you are HIM. Onto the next babe.”
And Ben proved the message was an ace by reposting it to his own Story, in which he called Trinity his world.
Since confirming their romance in March, the two star athletes have been there to celebrate the other’s major wins. In fact, just a few days prior to Ben’s milestone moment, Trinity experienced her own win: not only did she make her return to the soccer field after being sidelined for months with a back injury, but she also scored what would become the game-winning goal for the Washington Spirit.
After the game, referencing the fact Trinity only entered the game in the 76th minute as a sub, Ben wrote on social media, “Plays 15 mins first game back and scores a banger.”
He also shared a reel of the goal, which read, “Welcome back Trinity Rodman.”
And indeed, her return of the field was an emotional moment for Trinity, who grew tearful recounting the epic goal in a post-game interview.
“I just think, holy cow,” the 23-year-old said, “that was the hardest thing I’ve had to go through with injury and everything. So being back, especially at the home stadium with the crowd behind me, scoring a goal like that, you saw it—I buried it, I wasn’t gonna miss it.”
She emphasized, “I’m just really happy to be back, I missed the team, I missed doing what I love. So, yeah I’m just enjoying it.”

And she’s been a stalwart supporter throughout the Grand Slam tournaments, including slamming reporters who invoked her estranged dad Dennis Rodman by emphasizing the refocus on Shelton’s successes at Wimbledon.
“For Ben’s matches he has his family there as his support system, which includes his dad,” Rodman wrote on her July 7 Instagram story, calling out the Wimbledon broadcasters for their commentary about her family. “My dads not even in MY life no need to bring him up during HIS matches when I don’t even want him talked about during mine.”
