Vera Wang is a Grand Slam champion of soft glam.
The fashion designer shared a look at her visit to the 2025 US Open, and while she aced her tennis style, her glowing skin was the true star of her recent look.
“APRES TENNIS,” Vera, 76, captioned her Sept. 8 Instagram selfie, which sees her smiling as she enjoyed dinner at Cipriani after the tennis match. She also gave the Italian restaurant a shoutout, writing, “CIPRIANI.”
In the photo, the bridal designer wore a minimal makeup look—including her signature black eyeliner—that made her skin look almost blurred. Indeed, fans in the comments section gushed over her radiant skin, and Vera clarified that her routine wasn’t the only key to her soft glow.
“HEY GUYS,” she wrote. “GREAT LIGHTING = CIPRIANI!!!!!”
But in true Vera fashion, that wasn’t the end of her glam. Vera—who shares daughter Cecilia, 33, and Josephine, 30, with ex-husband Arthur Becker—also showed off her tennis court-inspired look for the men’s final championship game on Sept 9. Sporting a royal blue top, she elevated the outfit with black pants, a leather jacket, and white shoes.
While Vera served looks at the US Open, she’s always dressed to impress. In fact, for her 76th birthday celebration in June, the fashion icon turned heads in two outfits: a backless slip dress and a lace-trimmed gown layered with white pearls.
“Just celebrating my 75 9/10 – 76th birthday NEW YORK TIME with my Parisian crew and a few others who have been lifelong besties!” she wrote on Instagram that month. “Thank you all for this special special night!”
After all, Vera believes it’s important to celebrate every year of her life—in style, of course.
“After my 75th last year, I said, ‘Maybe, you don’t have to celebrate after 75,’” she told People in May, one month before her birthday event in Paris. “A lot of my friends don’t want to. They say, ‘I’m too old.’ I said, ‘It’s not about being old. It’s about being here and living, and we should celebrate that.’”
