Khloe Kardashian was definitely keeping up with her sisters’ Met Gala 2025 appearances, despite skipping the swanky soiree herself.
The Kardashians star revealed what she was up to instead of attending The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual bash on May 5, where Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner all turned heads in jaw-dropping looks. (See every star on the red carpet here.)
As it turns out, Khloe was (unsurprisingly) on babysitting duty watching her and ex Tristan Thompson kids—daughter True Thompson, 7, and 2-year-old son Tatum Thompson—in addition to her niece Dream Kardashian, a.k.a. Rob Kardashian‘s 8-year-old daughter with ex Blac Chyna.
The 40-year-old shared several adorable videos to her Instagram Stories on fashion’s biggest night showing the cousins dancing around the pool in the backyard of her Hidden Hills, Calif. mansion. For the wet ‘n’ wild fun, Tatum rocked black swim shorts while True and Dream matched in pink and purple one-piece swimsuits.
In one clip, Tatum could even be heard asking for the next song on Khloe’s playlist as he rocked out and showed off his moves.
But after pool time, Khloe was parked on the couch watch E! News’ coverage of the Met Gala carpet, particularly Kim, Kylie and Kendall’s stunning arrivals.
Kim climbed the stairs of New York City’s Met Museum rocking a skintight, black leather dress by Chrome Hearts and matching black hat for the 2025 theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” and the dress code “Tailored for You.” The 44-year-old—who is a staple at the annual fundraiser hosted by Vogue—outdid herself yet again with plenty of Moussaieff diamond necklaces dripping down her chest over the off-the-shoulder, Western-inspired number and dazzling earrings to match.
As for Kylie’s latest head-turning Met Gala look, the 27-year-old wowed in a figure-hugging black and gray halter dress from Ferragamo featuring a sheer bodice and long tweed skirt with a thigh-high slit for the menswear-inspired theme.
The makeup mogul completed her look with sheer black gloves and her hair pulled back in a sophisticated bun.
Meanwhile, Kendall went surprisingly conservative in a dark, long-sleeved menswear-inspired look by Torishéju and diamond necklaces.
The 29-year-old supermodel kept her long, brunette hair simple and cascading down her back.
As for Khloe’s last Met Gala appearance, she made her debut at the event in 2022 rocking a curve-hugging, glittering gold floor-length Moschino gown and sunglasses.
