In 2009, 22-year-old Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted of murdering her roommate while studying abroad in Italy. Over 15 years later, Mouth of the Wolf: Amanda Knox Returns to Italy follows her journey back to the country that imprisoned her. Directed by Knox’s husband, poet and novelist Christopher Robinson, the 2026 documentary offers a real-life perspective on the events depicted in last year’s scripted series, The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, produced by Knox and Monica Lewinsky.
Mouth of the Wolf premieres on Monday, Jan. 26, on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
