Stefon Diggs is preparing to score a parental touchdown.
After all, the New England Patriots wide receiver is expecting a new baby with girlfriend Cardi B, just four months after the couple went public with their relationship at a New York Knicks game.
The baby isn’t the first for Stefon—who is also dad to 8-year-old daughter Nova from a previous relationship—and the fourth for Cardi, who shares children Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 12 months, with estranged husband Offset.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” Cardi, 32, shared on CBS Mornings Sept. 17, adding that she’s due ahead of her Little Miss Tour in February. “I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
And the “Up” rapper added that she felt like she could handle a new album, a tour and a new baby thanks to the support she gets from Stefon, 31.
“He just makes me feel safe and very confident,” she gushed. “And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”

Born in Gaithersburg, Md., the 31-year-old grew up playing football and track. He accepted a scholarship to attend the University of Maryland in College Park, and played on their football team from 2012 to 2014.
After his junior year, Stefon made the decision to enter the 2015 NFL draft, where he was picked by the Minnesota Vikings. He played as a wide receiver with them until 2020 when he was traded to the Buffalo Bills. In 2024, he was traded to the Houston Texans, before being traded again in 2025 to the New England Patriots.
