This is the sweet life of Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin.
The Running Point actress penned a heartfelt tribute to her fiancé—with whom she shares sons Dakota, 4, and Carson, 2—to commemorate the latest milestone in their relationship.
“8 years and there is still no one who makes me laugh or smile like the way you do,” Brenda wrote on Instagram June 18. “No one who makes me feel more seen, heard or loved. My partner in crime, my adventure partner, my best friend, my baby daddy, my favorite everything- thank you.”
The 37-year-old added, “To be loved by you is the greatest privilege. Happy anniversary. I love you.”
Alongside her loving words, Brenda shared two selfies with the Home Alone actor. In the first one, the couple—who have been engaged since 2022—cuddles at a dinner table as they wear bunny ears, while in the second snap they both playfully bare their teeth for the camera.
The Disney Channel alum’s post comes after she recently pointed to having children with Macaulay as having strengthened their bond with one another.
“No matter how well you know your partner, when you have kids, it’s another phase of your relationship, because you are dealing with situations that you’ve never dealt with,” Brenda explained in an exclusive interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker in April. “You’re raising little humans together. It comes down to this really ground level of who you guys are and if you connect.”
The Social Network actress can understand why “people break up when they have young children,” she acknowledged, “or they go through issues, because it’s a high-stress situation,” but she feels even more secure in her relationship with Macaulay.
“I am so, so fortunate that when we had kids, instead of us going through these trials and tribulations, yes, we did, but it strengthened us,” Brenda explained, “because we realized, ‘Oh, I really am so lucky to have someone who understands me on such a different kind of level.'”
“I wasn’t expecting that because I’m so used to my crazy type A personality doing it all,” she continued. “Mac is so good at doing the things that I didn’t even know I needed and I didn’t even know our kids needed. I always say he’s the white glue that keeps us all together.”
