Rihanna is already teaching her daughter how to shine bright like a diamond.
While confirming the arrival of her and partner A$AP Rocky’s baby girl Rocki Irish Mayers, the “This Is What You Came For” singer—who also shares sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, with A$AP—sported $128,000 worth of jewelry.
The Sept. 24 Instagram photo saw Rihanna holding her infant, who is swaddled in a pink blanket. Rihanna, for her part, wore a pink Audemars Piguet Royal Oak rose gold timepiece, which is valued at around $99,900, per the brand’s website, as well as a gold pendant by Marie Lichtenberg, which is valued at $40,000 and a $7,950 Splendente Letter Pendant.
And though dazzling, the icing pales in comparison to Rihanna and A$AP’s sweet addition, who arrived Sept. 13. The “Sundress” rapper couldn’t help but effuse over the sweetness, writing in a comment, “MY LIL LADIES.”
Likewise, many of the couple’s friends were chiming in to send their well wishes.
Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo gushed, “She’s soooo pretty!!!”
Meanwhile, Tariji P. Henson had to clarify she knew Rihanna was going to get one for her team all along.
“I told you at the MET it was a girl!!!!!” Tariji wrote. “AUNTIE WAS RIGHT!!!!! Congrats!!!!”
Indeed, the arrival of Rocki marks Rihanna’s official exit from the boy mom club, one she previously said was “really cool” to be part of.
“I get to be as casual and busted as I want to,” she explained to E! News in April 2024. “But it also forces me to embrace the epic things about being a woman and female and all my femininity—I embrace it so much more now.”
But now, Rihanna has fulfilled a life goal she admitted to E! News in 2023 which was simply “have daughters.”
“I’m batting at 75 percent for a boy next time,” she joked. “So, we’ll just keep our fingers crossed.”
