Jon Ham is going to continue pretending to keep up with the Joneses —as Your Friends & Neighbors has landed an early renewal.
Apple has ordered a third season of the hit Hamm-starring Apple series months ahead of its season two releases.
The second season, which also got a teaser trailer on Monday (below), returns Friday, April 3, on Apple TV with the first episode, followed by a weekly drop until a June 12 finale.
Your Friends & Neighbors is created by Jonathan Tropper and is executive produced by Hamm, who stars as Andrew “Coop” Cooper who, in season two, will “double down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk,” per Apple.
The first season liberated Hamm’s suburban dad, and opened Coop up for more of a life of lavish crime for season two. The second season brings along newcomer James Marsden as the aforementioned new neighbor. Marsden stars alongside returning stars Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.
The Apple Studios series is created by bestselling author Tropper, who is showrunner, director and executive producer through Tropper Ink under his overall deal with Apple TV. In addition to Hamm, executive producers include Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas and Stephanie Laing, the latter who directs six episodes.
